Patent Law and Practice is an advanced course specially designed to help professionals understand the intricacies of Patent practice. The course covers most important aspects Patent law, the studies of which are essential to hone the skills of a professional.

The course will start with an introduction to patent practice and will go on to cover basic and advanced aspects of practice. Skill based aspects of practice such as report writing, preparation of opinions, searching, patent drafting, filing and prosecution, infringement analysis and FTO analysis, licensing and landscaping will be covered in the course. Specific Sessions in the course have been dedicated to dispute resolution. Exercises and role plays have been designed in the course to help students learn patent skills.
